CADENZ by HealingWave Lab
First VGP functional audio product
Find your
cadence.
CADENZ is a cadence music app for running and cycling. It brings VGP original music into a movement-first product: 100% Art. 100% Science.
Adaptive music for running and cycling
VGP original music
UI built. Backend in progress

100% Art. 100% Science.
The problem is not music. It is mismatch.
01 Problem
Most workout playlists ignore cadence.
A track can sound good and still fight your stride or pedal rhythm. When the tempo drifts away from the body, the workout starts following the playlist instead of the playlist supporting the workout.
02 Missing layer
BPM is only the starting point.
Running and cycling need tempo, energy, structure, recovery, and timing. A number on a track does not automatically become flow.
03 CADENZ
A music system built around motion.
CADENZ connects cadence targets with original VGP music so runners and cyclists can move with a clearer rhythmic anchor.

Product flow
From pace to playlist, the app keeps the session simple.
CADENZ is being shaped as a calm music-tech product, not a busy fitness dashboard. The listener sets the movement intent, the music supports the rhythm, and the session stays focused.
Running cadence
Music shaped around stride rhythm, pace awareness, and motion flow.
Cycling rhythm
Cadence-focused listening for riders who want sound to support pedal rhythm.
Adaptive target
The product direction is cadence-first: simple controls, clear movement intent, and VGP music at the center.
Research base
Rhythm, exercise, and auditory cue research inform the thesis.
These papers support the product direction. CADENZ does not turn them into medical claims. It uses them to keep the idea grounded: tempo, preference, rhythm, and movement timing matter.

Release status
The first HealingWave product is moving toward release.
The CADENZ interface is built. Backend work is in progress. The next step is making the experience stable enough for its first public release.
